How much does a standard home inspection cost?
Pricing is determined by the amount of heated square feet, geographical location, and any
additional services needed. For example, 4 point, wind mitigation, pool, etc.
Do you offer a warranty?
No. While we carry errors and omissions insurance, we do not offer a separate warranty.
We operate on the belief of spending as much time as it takes to perform your inspection
correctly. We believe that if you feel the need to provide a warranty then you already have
the mindset that you plan to miss items on the inspection.
Why do I need a home inspection on a brand-new house when the county has their own inspectors?
Most county inspectors are on a schedule to do so many inspections per day and are often
behind schedule. At AEFHI we are not on a time schedule and will be on site at your
property until the job is done.
What is inspected during a normal home inspection?
During a normal home inspection we look at everything from slab(or crawlspace if
applicable) to roof. We test all available outlets and windows,ac,heat,appliances,etc.
How long does a typical home inspection take?
The typical home inspection lasts approximately 2.5 hours. That being said AEFHI will be on
site however long it takes to complete your inspection.
What items that you find on an inspection are the seller required to fix?
Sellers are not required to fix anything however any major or safety items found would
legally need to be disclosed to any future potential buyers.
